My job consisted of the non-stop batching of fresh margaritas for outdoor festivals & distributor meetings; where fast, consistent (& delicious) spicy margs were in high demand. I was introduced to a BEER growler keg that used a complicated C02 tap adapter to force out the NON-carbonated cocktail. It was great; until it wasn't. I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing —
I noticed an obvious need for a new type of cocktail container that didn’t rely on CO2. Everyone used glass jars & threw away their leftovers. I needed something better; something different but I didn't have the need for complicated setups nor C02 cartridges that weren’t reusable (plus I wasn't batching sparkling margaritas (even though that sounded amazing)).
And just like that, the Pump Keg was born.
